Ancient people had many strange notions about caves. The people of Greece
believed that their gods Zeus, Pan, Dionysus and Pluto lived in caves. The
Romans believed that caves were the homes of mythological creatures. People
of Persia worshipped caves considering them to be the abodes of God. Today,
huge and beautiful caves all over the world have become centers of attraction
for the tourists.
A cave is a deep hollow space in a mountain. It is formed in different
ways. For example, waves coming from the sea collide with the mountains
and wash away the soft stones present in between the layers of the rocks.
This process, continued over a period of thousands of years creates large
spaces inside the mountains which we call caves.
Caves are also found below the Earth's surface. These are formed by underground
streams. The streams wash away the limestone from the rocks, and the gaps
so created form caves.
Mount Shasta is a volcano. The word volcano
comes from the little island of Volcano in the Mediterranean Sea off Sicily.
Centuries ago, the people living in this area believed that Volcano was
the chimney of the forge of Vulcan--the blacksmith of the Roman gods. They
thought that the hot lava fragments and clouds of dust erupting from Volcano
came from Vulcan's forge as he beat out thunderbolts for Jupiter, King of
the Gods, and weapons for Mars, the god of war.
More than 80 percent of the Earth's surface is of volcanic origin. Gases
coming out from openings on the surface over hundreds of millions of years
are responsible for the formation of the Earth's earliest oceans and atmosphere,
and even the mountains, plateaus and plains.
Lava cools rapidly on the surface of the Earth to form a type of crystalline
rock called Igneous rocks.
On the basis of state, the volcanoes are divided into three types:
Active Volcano: A volcano that has erupted
during the last several hundred years is called active volcano.
Dormant Volcano: If a volcano has erupted
during the last few thousand years, but not the last few hundred years,
then it is a dormant volcano. For example, Mount Capulin is dormant, not
extinct. It last erupted about 7000 years ago. Dormant volcanoes are also
called sleeping volcanoes.
Extinct Volcano: If the volcano has not erupted
during the last thousands of years, it is called extinct or dead volcano.
Volcanoes affect humankind in many ways. The destruction caused is awesome,
but assessing volcanic hazards and forecasting volcanic eruptions can reduce
the risk involved. Volcanism provides fertile soils, valuable mineral deposits,
and geothermal energy. Over geologic time volcanoes recycle the Earth's
hydrosphere and atmosphere, and explosive eruptions can affect climate.

at PLUTO CAVES
Breakfast at 7-9 am at the Buddha Belly Restaurant at 513 Main Street,
Weed, California - PHONE: 530.938.4366. Gather for Group Prayer & Sacred
Ceremony at 8:00 am during breakfast. At 9:15 am we will caravan to the
Pluto Caves where we will perform sacred ceremonies, grid work and undergo
Initiations until 2 pm. We will do a full afternoon of Light Work, Grid
Work and Personal Work directly with Ascended Masters St. Germain and Quan
Yin, Goodly Extra-Terrestrials Monka and Lady Venus, and Inner Earth High
Priest Adama and High Priestess Rosalea.
Explore Pluto Caves Covering more than 50 square miles, the area
contains underground tubes created by trapped air as the flowing lava cooled.
Bring a flashlight and sturdy shoes. Visitor's Centers can supply map and
locations.

During Mt. Shasta's many eruptions lava oozed slowly over the landscape,
filling gullies and narrow valleys. The outer edges cooled more quickly
leaving hollow lava shells called lava tubes. Pluto Caves are an easily
accessible example of the thousands of lava tubes, many undiscovered or
kept secret, which pepper the landscape in the Sacred Mountain Region.
Pluto Cave has held sacred significance for Native American Tribes for
hundreds of years. Sadly, its accessibility has led to misuse by thrill
seekers, but the experience is worth the hike into these eerily magnificent
caves. Wear hiking shoes, go in pairs and take flashlights and extra batteries.
To reach the Caves, go out Hwy 97 approximately 12 miles to Road A12. Turn
west, and go 3 miles. Slow down, and watch carefully on the left for a telephone
pole with "Pluto Caves" in silver letters attached directly to the pole.
Turn left and drive about 2/10 of a mile to the dirt parking area. Follow
the rock edged walkway to the Caves.

Beginning in 2002, after 911 Pluto caves received a guardian, a white owl.
Please when you venture there bring blessings and offerings to this guardian
for its work in neutralizing the energies of those dark caves is tremendous.
Owls are very powerful guardians and bearers of very important messages
or insights.
I now know that the owl has been speaking to me and wants to speak further
to the rest of us all. Its medicine must be learned and felt and that
this creature must be honored always.
When the owl comes to us or if we choose to work with its medicine, its
gift is for a clearer eyesight and also to hear, much will be revealed in
which may be hidden or insights in what others may try to hide. You will be
able to detect deception behind the subtle actions and see the motives of
what is really hidden in the shadows. Some may even with the help
of owl see into the darkness of the soul and life of others making it very
uncomfortable to most people. More clairvoyance and clairaudience is
gifted. This of course lends it power to the moon and its nightly beauty,
much has been associated with the owl and its companionship to spiritual
wisdom. Many times the owl is associated with ones of power and magic,
Merlin, Athena, and Lilith have been portrayed with the owl.
I see that the owl is a great consort to spirit, for it has been prophesied
that all things will be revealed and nothing will be kept hidden in the
New Age to come. Much is being said to honor our relations with the
owl and its medicine. Perhaps our wise brother owl is trying to offer us
insights so that we may walk this planet as strong guardians of wisdom.
Upholding all that is true not only, from the caves, forests, barns and mountains;
but what is deep in our hearts and minds waiting to be honored to reach the
light for all.

the Ceremony at Mount Shasta at 4 pm with 2 hours work with special anointing
by Ascended Master Saint Germain and Lady Master Quan Yin, for all participants.
Bring your crystals for blessing. A crystal planting wish altar will taker
place in the enchanted woods here by dusk. Dinner at Buddha Belly Restaurant.
Complete the evening with music by Djin and then a reading of the sacred
books by STARDOVES.
Ascending the Mountain...
Everitt Vista Point
Drive up Mount Shasta on the Everitt Memorial Highway (just follow Lake
Street up out of the center of Mt. Shasta City past the high school). After
you drive approximately 8 miles, you will see the sign for the popular Everitt
Vista Point 1/2 mile before the destination. The view west over the valley
from your car is breathtaking, but if you walk through the parking lot and
take the trail starting next to the restroom facility, you will soon come
to a stone lookout which affords a panoramic view to the south. On a clear
day you will see Mount Lassen and Castle Crags in the south, with the sweep
of the Eddy Mountains and distant Marble Mountain Wilderness Area to the
west.
The Everitt Vista Point lookout is the location of frequent "star parties"
during the summer, where local astronomers bring their telescopes and binoculars
for the celestial show. Check the local newspaper the Mt. Shasta Herald,
to see if a star gazing party is planned during your stay.

the Sea Caves after a sacred reading from the books by STARDOVES. Eat box

'crew' quiz tomorrow, and personality revelation session as revealed in
the Secret Places of the Lion.

Park, CA on Dec. 2nd
Stepping into a grove of coastal redwoods has been likened to entering
one of the world's great Cathedrals. Sure, the sense of holiness is comparable
but otherwise words and man-made construction have a way of coming up, well,
short. No cathedral in the world vaults 30-plus stories high, as the redwoods
do, and no amount of ornate carving or stained glass windows can outdo a
redwood forest for the flamboyance of the rhododendrons, ferns, creeping
oxalis, mosses, and other greenery decorating its floor.
At Redwood National Park, visitors of all abilities and inclinations have
a chance to meet the largest living organisms in the world firsthand. Just
when you think you've seen the biggest tree you've ever laid eyes upon,
an even bigger specimen will appear around the corner.
